About the Initiative

We successfully established 9 distinct youth clubs across the region. Each club served as a local hub for 7 to 10 young members, bringing our total engagement to approximately 63-90 youth from the Thakar community. This program was implemented across 8 key villages in Khed Taluka: Thakarwadi, Varude, Jaulke, Kanersar, Gulani, Gosasi, Nimgaon, Davadi

The clubs were designed to channel youthful energy into positive outcomes. We facilitated programs that built teamwork, leadership, and a sense of social responsibility among the members.

A cornerstone of the program was involving the newly formed clubs in environmental conservation. The youth clubs actively participated in and led tree planting drives, contributing directly to the ecological health of their villages and fostering a deep-seated respect for nature.
