A Scholarship of Hope: Giving Dreams a Second Chance (2024)
About the Initiative
The sudden loss of a parent or a family's financial crisis can abruptly end a girl's educational journey. For 20 girls from single-parent, widowed, or orphaned families, this was a very real fear.
Our scholarship program was designed to be a lifeline. By providing Rs. 1000 to cover school fees, uniforms, and books, we sent a powerful message: their dreams are worth fighting for. We removed the financial hurdle and gave them the confidence to stay in school, empowering them to build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Also in this year, we successfully connected 7 families with the Savitribai Phule Child Care Scheme by Government of Maharashtra. We provided end-to-end support, from information and documentation to liaising with implementing partners, ensuring they received the government assistance they were entitled to.

With Our Students
Future Goals
We aim to expand this program to reach more girls by 2025. Our future plans include:
- Establishing a mentorship program pairing recipients with professionals
- Providing digital literacy training and access to technology
- Creating career guidance workshops for higher education opportunities
